Contributions and sponsorship help BWVA accomplish our mission to improve the state of cycling and walking in Virginia. Donated funds support our educational website content, our free of charge web-education classes, and our print materials.

Sponsors of our events help offset operational costs so more of our funds can go toward:

• education of drivers and cyclists through our Share the Road initiative
• more advocacy so we have better laws and funding for bike and pedestrian projects
• support for programs such the Bike Smart Virginia Program where we partner with organizations to teach bike safety to K-12 educators

The Kevin Flock Memorial Fund

Supports Share the Road Education programming.

Kevin was killed while cycling in Amelia County in May 2009. His family and friends started a memorial fund dedicated to Share the Road education and teaching safety to cyclists.

The Sunrise Mini-Grant Program

Provide small grants for community bike and pedestrian projects.  See our Sunrise Mini-Grant Program page for more details.

Event Sponsor
