In 2009, Kevin Flock was killed while cycling in rural central Virginia. He was struck from behind on a clear, sunny Sunday afternoon on a roadway with open sight lines.

Kevin’s family graciously asked for contributions to be made to a memorial fund supporting Share the Road education. In October BikeWalk Virginia and Kevin’s sister released the first of a three part series of videos that tell the story of the tragedy and how lives can be saved.

See the related news article about the safety video.
